These detailed maple seed pods are entirely hand sculpted from 0.925 sterling silver. In our childhood, these “whirligigs” or “helicopter seeds” had a special place in our hearts! Immortalized in silver, these seed pods are remarkably sturdy while appearing amazingly delicate.

These samaras measure about 4.5 cm from the top of their stem to their base, and about 4.2 cm between the widest section of their tips.

Earrings have built-in hand-shaped ear hooks. Necklaces will come on an 18” cord— please let us know if you would prefer a different length! The pin on the clothing pins are quite sharp and twisted for a bit of extra sparkle and hardness. The pin is a similar thickness as standard lapel pins, so these should work in similar fabrics.
