Larkin is an amazing artist in metal and stone. And, historically, those mad skillz Absolutely Do Not translate to paper and pen/pencil. 😅 That said, they *do* have a sketchbook, and that is where most of their designs start!
We thought it might be fun to join in with other artists on "Sketchy Sunday" and share Larkin's sketch with a photo of the finished piece.
This piece is from about 5 years ago, when Larkin was 16. I had learned by then that magic was probably about to happen, but it would still be fun to have a video of my face as Larkin drew this sketch and described the beautiful, firey mermaid they were about to create.
Good thing this kid can stick the landing!
